Unmissable Shows and Festivals in London this summer
We have compiled a list of what we believe are some of the best shows and festivals you can attend in London this summer.

London’s Prince Edward Theatre welcomes stage sensation Aladdin. Featuring all the songs you know and love, the production is brought to you by an extraordinary team including director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw, music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin. The leading roles are delivered by British stars Matthew Croke and Jade Ewen with Broadway’s Trevor Dion Nicholas making his London debut as the Genie. Tickets for Aladdin start at £33.50.
Dreamgirls takes centre stage at the Savoy Theatre this summer. With vocals that will take your breath away and classic songs such as ‘Listen’ and ‘One Night Only’, you will be able to escape for the evening to a world of fame and fortune with three best friends. In addition to their powerful journey, you can learn more about a revolutionary time in American music history. Dreamgirls tickets start at £22.50.
Gunnersbury Park welcomes Lovebox Festival on the 13th and 14th July. This two-day event will see Skepta, N.E.R.D and Annie Mac perform, to name just a few. Then in 2005, Lovebox moved to Victoria Park, spread itself over two days and the Now in its 16th year, this is the first time the festival will be moved from the Victoria Park site. Originally conceived by Groove Armada, this festival never fails to impress. Past headliners include Frank Ocean and Duran Duran. Tickets start from £59.50 for one day to £115 for both days.
Three-days of Wireless music at Finsbury Park is all it takes for an exceptional music experience. If the genre takes your fancy, the festival includes headliners J.Cole, Stormzy and DJ Khaled. While tickets may have sold out for the 6th – 8th July event at the time of writing this blog, it’s worth regularly checking their website for any last minute releases or contacting official resellers. Alternatively, you can always grab a bite to eat nearby and listen without the crowd.
All Points East
All Points East is a brand new ten-day event in East London. Featuring a three-day festival on 25th – 27th May and mini shows on 1st – 3rd June, headliners for the festival include Björk, LCD Soundsystem and The xx. The mini events, entitled All Points East Presents, are comprised of three one-day concerts led by three different acts: Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, The National and Catfish And The Bottlemen. So whether you want to enjoy the music in a crowd or in a more intimate setting, there’s plenty of acts to choose from. With entertainment on-site including comedy, food and films All Points East really does have it all. The festival is priced at £59.95 for a day ticket to £169.95 for all days.
